We are now looking for an FPGA Developer for one of our clients.

Description

FPGA Developer, Level 4

We are looking for you who want to combine technical depth with societal benefit. You are analytical, curious, and thrive on solving advanced problems in close collaboration with others.

Role

  • Design and develop FPGA-based systems for electronic warfare applications.
  • Test and verify functionality to ensure high quality and functionality, both using simulation tools and on hardware (HW).
  • Optimize and improve designs with a focus on robustness, efficiency, and long lifespan.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze advanced technical problems and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Actively participate in technical reviews and contribute to continuous improvements in design methodology and working practices.
  • Collaborate closely with other engineers and developers in an agile team.

Profile

  • Relevant educational background in electronics, technical physics, computer science, or equivalent.
  • Experience in the RF domain, preferably from the defense industry, telecommunications, or similar.
  • Experience with FPGA/ASIC design and programming.
  • Good knowledge of VHDL.
  • Experience with FPGA chips from AMD (Xilinx) or Altera.
  • Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Merits

  • Knowledge in signal processing or radar systems.
  • Experience with hardware-oriented programming and embedded systems.
  • Knowledge in Python/Java as well as configuration management.

The assignment may be subject to defense secrecy, which entails requirements for Swedish citizenship and approval of a security clearance conducted by the authorities.

Assignment Information

  • Duration: approx. 6 months
  • Location: Stockholm
  • Response requested as soon as possible, but no later than 2026-07-01
