We are now looking for a team player dentist who wants to make a difference!

Main tasks and responsibilities

At Folktandvården Frölunda Kulturhus, you will meet patients of all ages with various healthcare needs. As a dentist with us, you play a vital role in ensuring that patients feel well cared for and secure during their visit. You will utilize your full range of competencies, and the role also requires creativity, collaboration, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.

The position includes, among other things:

• working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room
• performing both simple examinations and more advanced treatments, as well as emergency dental care
• serving as the team's specialist in oral diagnostics and sharing your knowledge with patients and colleagues
• contributing to the ongoing clinical caries study at the clinic.

Competency requirements and profile

• Registered dentist, preferably a recent graduate to complement the team
• Interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry
• Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both speech and writing
• Ability to organize and prioritize work in an efficient and smart manner
• Ability to give a stable and calm impression even when workload is high
• Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a listening and empathetic way

If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually tailored supervision program during your first year. This supervision program is part of our three-year development program with up to 18 days of competence development.

About the recruitment process

The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application period ends, the clinic manager selects candidates and invites them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 27 and 28.

If you, as an applicant, have education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, it may be necessary to complete additional theoretical and clinical work tests as part of the recruitment process.

Folktandvården Västra Götaland Region conducts checks in suspicion and burden registers before employment.
