About the Company

GKN Aerospace Sweden is part of GKN Aerospace, which manufactures engine components, airframe structures, cabin windows, wiring, and much more for many of the world's aircraft. The companies in the Aerospace division working on jet engine parts form Engines together, and at the facility in Trollhättan, advanced parts for aircraft and space rocket engines are developed and manufactured. They also work on engine maintenance.

GKN Aerospace has production facilities in Trollhättan, Kongsberg (Norway), Mexico, and the USA. They also have an engineering office in Bangalore, India, and offices in Stockholm (Public Affairs) and Gothenburg. The headquarters for Engines is located in Trollhättan.

Your Responsibilities

As a Master Scheduler, you will become a key player in creating an efficient flow from forecasting and material supply to delivery and invoicing. You are responsible for material planning, optimizing inventory levels and capital tie-up, and developing forecasts that support the business's planning. The role involves close collaboration with several parts of the business, where you contribute to optimizing both production and inventory while working with ongoing invoicing, follow-up, and exception handling to ensure high quality in the processes.

The role also includes:

  • Coordinating material requirements and creating purchase requisitions
  • Participating in planning, supplier, and financial meetings
  • Supporting the business during monthly and annual closing
  • Identifying and driving improvement and automation initiatives

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education in Supply Chain, economics, or similar, as well as experience working in supply chain, logistics, invoicing, or administration. You have very good knowledge of Excel and communicate fluently in Swedish and English. Experience with SAP is a plus.

As a person, you are meticulous, self-initiating, and proactive. You find it easy to collaborate with different functions, while also being confident in taking own responsibility and driving your work forward. Since the workload can be high at times, we also see that you are flexible and have a good ability to prioritize.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where GKN's customer has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
