Do you want to make a difference for children and young people?
At the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic at the University Hospital, you have the chance to shape the future – every day. We offer a workplace where professional competence meets care, and where you as a nurse have room to grow.
We are approximately 160 employees who together shape the future of child psychiatry. Our core operations consist of outpatient, intermediate, and inpatient care, as well as several subspecialized units. Ward S102 is the only child psychiatric inpatient unit in Östergötland. We have six beds and work with both acute interventions and planned assessments.
Ward S102 offers you a secure introduction tailored to your experience and needs.
We apply mentorship with continuous follow-ups. The work group has group supervision with a licensed psychotherapist as well as "reflection" sessions where you can receive collegial support in your work. Furthermore, we value the desire to develop and offer good opportunities for further studies. In our work, conversation and the meeting between you and the patient are key. When you work on Ward S102, you get time for the patient and the opportunity to make a difference.
Please read about our career ladder for nurses and also about our benefits.
As a nurse on Ward S102, you work with what is most important – our children and young people. You will have a central role in the nursing care and become a key person in the team.
The tasks are varied and include among other things:
We are a positive and ambitious team consisting of doctors, nurses, care assistants, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, and psychologists. Together, we are responsible for ensuring high-quality care that is based on the individual patient's needs.
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience from psychiatric care or healthcare for children and young people is meritorious but not a requirement. As a nurse, you need to feel confident with conversation as a tool and thrive in a varied work pace.
Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important. For this position, we are looking for a colleague who is self-assured, has the ability to look up, take in others' perspectives, and dares to lead others towards a common goal. The applicant must also enjoy working with relationship-building, as we on the ward use ourselves as our primary tool.
In connection with employment in a patient-oriented role within Region Östergötland, you will be asked to fill out a health declaration.
We warmly welcome your application! If you need help registering in the system, contact Customer Service Support and Service, 010-103 60 00, during office hours.
