Our Offer

Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, four emergency centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the child health unit, the vaccination clinic, 1177, and the general medical education centre. We operate a broad primary care business where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, elderly, and patients at the end of life.

Job Description

We are looking for a nurse who values stimulating and independent work in a developing environment. The main task at the health centre is reception work and telephone advice. As a new nurse with us, you will receive a thorough introduction which is tailored to fit your needs. In connection with your employment, you will also receive a mentor who is to function as a support during your introduction and first year with us. Competence development is important in our business, which is why time for both internal and external training has high priority. To jointly offer the patient the best possible care is central to us, which is why we intend to take care of all employees' competence and work for competence exchange between different professional categories. We actively work to create openness, discussion, and participation, which is why we jointly prepare various matters. At our health centre, we all contribute to creating a good work climate by caring for each other, treating each other and our patients well, and radiating joy of work.

Work Group

We are just over 20 employees at Borensberg Health Centre who enjoy working together in an open work climate. We have good cooperation with our care neighbors, both within Region Östergötland and within the municipality.

We have a development-inspired approach and operate a broad primary care business where we meet patients of all ages and with many different needs.

At the health centre, there is a doctor's office, a nurse's office, specialist nurse offices, assistant nurse office, child health care, psychosocial competence, foot care, elderly care office, and laboratory. We are also responsible for a number of nursing homes.

About You

You are a registered nurse, preferably with experience from primary care. You master the Swedish language in speech and writing, corresponding to C1 level. Experience in relevant or related areas is also meritorious.

Since you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other operations, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. You also need to be able to handle different IT systems to be able to perform the daily care work.

You are empathetic, have good cooperation skills, and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. Furthermore, you have a pleasant approach towards patients and colleagues. You are secure in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession. We are looking for you who are positive to improvement work and have an easy time adapting to changed circumstances. We place great importance on personal suitability.

This is a permanent position with an start date of 2026-08-01 or as agreed.

Remote work part of the time with telephone advice can, if the operation allows, be offered after a completed introduction with a period of work on-site in the operation.
