Job Description
As a nurse at C116, you care for patients pre- and postoperatively in connection with advanced vascular surgical procedures, such as endovascular interventions and open surgeries of the aorta, arteries, and veins. Some of the most common diseases are limb ischemia, aneurysm, and carotid stenosis. It is a learning and stimulating job! You collaborate closely with other nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, secretaries, and dietitians. We have care coordinators who handle needs planning and a pharmacist who handles certain medication management, so that you as a nurse can focus on your work around the patients.
We have daily check-ins as well as "Green Cross"/reflection during daytime. This is done to quickly identify patient risks and areas needing intervention, as well as to highlight what we do well!
Work Group
For us, it is important to have a good work environment and good employee relations. This means that we are all responsible for supporting, helping, and including each other. We help each other across care units, and there is always a colleague to ask when questions arise. All to ensure you feel as secure as possible and settle into your role as a nurse with us.
There is a strong interest in driving development forward, which is evident in high participation in our APTs (Workplace Development Meetings) and engagement in various areas of responsibility. We are proud of our department and the care provided here! To maintain and develop the competence of our employees, we hold educational APTs, study groups, journal clubs, and professional meetings several times a year.
About You
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. Experience in surgical care is meritorious but not a requirement. At our department, everyone is welcome, whether you are newly graduated or have several years of experience in the profession!
You find it easy to collaborate with your colleagues and have a professional approach towards patients and relatives, as well as good empathy. You are secure, have self-insight, and do not hesitate to ask for help when needed. In stressful situations, you maintain your composure and can reprioritize your work based on changed circumstances. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
