Job Description
You will work in a varied laboratory environment. We offer 24/7 operations covering general chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, coagulation, transfusion medicine, and some microbiology. During daytime on weekdays, we also have sample collection and an anticoagulation clinic for patients. Additionally, we supervise students from Linköping University. Working hours vary between day, evening, night, and weekend shifts, providing variety in your tasks.
Work Group
As a colleague in laboratory medicine, you will become part of a fantastic team. Ideas, problems, and creative solutions are discussed and exchanged with both staff and management. Since we are a smaller hospital laboratory with 17 employees, you will have the chance to work with varied tasks. You will work in an open climate where you participate in continuous improvement efforts to develop the workplace together with pleasant colleagues.
About You
You are a licensed Biomedical Laboratory Scientist or hold a degree as a Medical Biologist. Introduction and training are adapted to your educational and professional background. Courses in serology are an advantage.
As a person, you enjoy juggling multiple tasks. You are service-oriented, quality-conscious, and structured, and you can prioritize your work in an efficient and meticulous manner. The job requires that you can work independently as well as part of a team. You have good collaboration skills and are expected to be engaged, proactive, and contribute to developing the operations together with other employees.
