This is initially a consulting assignment of approximately 12 months through Unik Resurs, with very good opportunities for extension.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Siemens Energy is now looking for an EHS Coordinator with a focus on chemical management and dangerous goods. Here you will have an important role where you contribute to ensuring compliance with legal requirements and developing the company's work within environment, health, and safety.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As an EHS Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting and developing the work environment and safety work with a focus on chemical management within Siemens Energy's operations in Finspång. You work closely with production, workshops, and office activities and function as a specialist and advisor in the field.

You become a key person in the work of ensuring that the operations follow current legislation and internal guidelines, while driving improvement work and training the organization within your areas of responsibility.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Be responsible for chemical management according to current legislation, such as REACH and CLP.
• Handle applications for the introduction of new chemicals and register them in iChemistry and SharePoint.
• Administer and develop the work in iChemistry.
• Drive and support the operations in risk assessments related to chemicals.
• Plan and administer the annual chemical inventory.
• Provide support and advice to the operations in matters concerning chemicals and dangerous goods.
• Create instructions and user support for iChemistry.
• Act as the company's Dangerous Goods Coordinator and collaborate with safety advisors within dangerous goods.
• Administer training needs and ensure that the right competence exists within the organization.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a great interest in environment, work environment, and safety and who thrive in an advisory role where you collaborate with many different functions. You work in a structured manner, are meticulous, and have an easy time translating legal requirements into practical working methods.

We believe you have:

• Relevant university education or equivalent experience within environment, chemistry, work environment, or similar area.
• Very good knowledge of REACH, CLP, chemical legislation, and safety data sheets.
• Experience with chemical management systems, preferably iChemistry.
• Experience with risk assessments and work with chemicals in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of regulations for dangerous goods is an advantage.
• Good administrative skills and experience working in Office 365 and SharePoint.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
