We are looking for an experienced nurse, preferably a district nurse or other specialist nurse, for our home healthcare service.

Job Description

As a nurse in home healthcare, you perform standard nursing tasks in patients' homes. You are responsible for a geographical area and have the overall nursing responsibility for the patients in that area.

The role also includes being the responsible nurse for nursing care in one of our LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations, where you collaborate with care staff and other professions to ensure good and safe care.

The duties include, among other things:

• Assessments, planning, and follow-up of health and medical care interventions.
• Nursing measures and medical treatments in the patient's home.
• Collaboration with doctors, rehabilitation staff, care staff, and relatives.
• Medication management and delegation of medication.
• Documentation and follow-up according to current routines and guidelines.
• Responsibility for patients within both home healthcare and LSS operations.

The position involves some weekend work, currently every sixth weekend.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a licensed nurse.
• Preferably are a district nurse or have other specialist education.
• Have experience in the profession and feel confident in your role.
• Can work independently, prioritize, and make your own decisions.
• Are responsible, flexible, and have a good attitude towards others.
• Have good collaboration skills and see the value of teamwork.
• Hold a valid B-driver's license (required).

Merits

• Experience in home healthcare.
• Experience in municipal health and medical care.
• Experience with documentation in LifeCare.
