The Medical Specialist Clinic (MSK) at the hospital in Motala operates a broad internal medicine practice with an emergency department, fifty-five care beds, and specialist clinics. Job Description

Your role includes leading and distributing patient-near nursing work and contributing to a positive climate in the workplace. We work in emergency teams around the patient, starting from the individual's needs and resources. An emergency team consists of a nursing assistant, a nurse, and a doctor with shared patients, workplaces, and routines – yes, most things are done together!

The emergency department is a constantly developing operation, and now we are looking for you with great commitment and innovative thinking who wants to help further develop our working methods to provide high-quality emergency care and contribute to a good work climate where we help each other and have fun at work!

About You

You are a licensed nurse, and we would appreciate it if you had some experience in the role and an interest in developing your competence within emergency care. If you have specialist training, it is an advantage. Are you looking for a job and a context to grow in and develop as a human being and nurse? Then perhaps we are what you are looking for. If you are basic-trained and wish to study further to become a specialist in emergency care, you can be given the prerequisites for this within the framework of your employment. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.

At our workplace, there is an opportunity to take courses such as TNCC, ALS, and AMLS. There is also the possibility to observe in adjacent operations that broaden your knowledge and thus contribute to good care at the emergency department in Motala and your personal development in the profession.

As a new nurse at the Motala emergency department, you will have an experienced nurse as a mentor during your first year with us.

We are looking for you who have a good ability to meet people where they are in different critical situations. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and can maintain calm and stability in stressful situations. You collaborate well within the team and with other professional groups and are a person who listens, communicates, and resolves conflicts in a constructive way.
