The Addiction Clinic is part of the psychiatric clinic in Norrköping and is a unit for specialized addiction care. The addiction care also includes a clinic for young people, the MOA clinic. The clinic also consists of psychiatric clinics and wards as well as emergency services.

Job Description

We are now expanding our teams at the Addiction Clinic with one more nurse. As a nurse with us, you lead and plan the nursing care around our patients. A common treatment with us is LARO (Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Dependence).

The daily work includes patient meetings with, among other things, administration of medication, sample collection, and supportive/advisory conversations, where you are responsible for planning and following up on the treatment together with the patient, their network, and the team. You are offered regular supervision, which gives you support and security in your work. You will receive an individualized introduction when you start with us, opportunities for continuous competence development, and the chance to observe all operations within the clinic as well as with our nearest care partners.

Work Group

The team you are part of consists of several professions such as doctors, care assistants, pharmacists, healthcare administrators, psychologists, psychotherapists, and social workers. Together, each contributes, all equally important, with their perspective, and we can thus offer our patients high-quality care. Our collective view provides a good whole for each patient while we also learn from each other. We help patients both somatically, mentally, and psychosocially, where our treatment work is intertwined, and as a nurse, you are a hub in the work around the patient.

About You

You are a registered nurse. We would like you to have further education in psychiatry.

Experience of working within harmful use and addiction care is meritorious, but it is not a requirement. Since you will communicate with patients and relatives, it is important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

We are looking for you who are self-reliant and take initiative to solve situations and develop the workplace forward with a holistic perspective. You have a flexible attitude towards your tasks and a creative way of looking at emerging situations. You do this with good judgment and take the professional and interpersonal aspects into your assessments. We also see that you are good at collaborating with others and have good oral communication with both colleagues and patients.

We offer a one-year temporary position starting September 1, 2026, or by agreement, with the possibility of a permanent employment.
