We are looking for

Dental Nurse for the University Dental Clinic at the Faculty of Odontology.

Content and Responsibilities

At the University Dental Clinic, we work in teams focused on patients and students. As a dental nurse, you contribute to good oral health, excellent clinical education, and high-quality research within dentistry. This position will be located within Clinic Unit 1, covering the subjects of Prosthodontics, General Adult Dentistry, and Periodontology.

The role involves a high degree of independent work and personal responsibility, which you balance with collegial collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Your main tasks include clinical assistance at the student clinic, where you, together with supervisors, support and guide students in their clinical training. You will also spend part of your clinical work at the staff clinic, assisting dentists in all forms of treatment. Additionally, you will handle hygiene and sterilization duties as well as administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Specific requirements for this position:

• Diploma as a Dental Nurse
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills in Swedish and a minimum grade of Pass in Swedish 3 or equivalent.

Workplace

The Faculty of Odontology is one of five faculties at Malmö University. Both research and teaching aim to improve oral health for the entire population. The faculty offers education for dentists, dental hygienists, and dental technicians, as well as specialist and doctoral education.

The University Dental Clinic

As a dental nurse, you will be employed by the University Dental Clinic (UTV). UTV is responsible for all clinical activities at the Faculty of Odontology. Our mission is to maintain a clinic that ensures students' needs for clinical training and provides conditions for the clinical duties of teachers.
