The Clinical Area (VO) for Pediatric Medicine has approximately 700 employees and operations in both Malmö and Lund. We treat children and adolescents aged 0–18 with diseases within pediatric medicine, based on a holistic view encompassing medical, nursing, psychological, social, special pedagogical, and humanistic perspectives.

Pediatric care can be described as a small hospital within a large one. Here, we offer everything from the broad base of common illnesses affecting many, to highly specialized care for children and adolescents with rare and severe diagnoses. We provide both acute and planned care, with treatment durations varying from a few hours to sometimes several months. Here, well-being is just as important as performing work of the highest quality and best service. RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to work with children and adolescents with a focus on endocrinology!

At the Child and Adolescent Medicine Clinic, we have a challenging and enjoyable job where we strive to help families receive the best possible care. Here, you work with colleagues who help each other and who all aim to provide care of the highest quality. You will work with children and adolescents with endocrinological diseases. The work includes outpatient duties together with physicians as well as your own nurse-led clinic. Common tasks include growth hormone treatment, patient education, injection treatment, hormone investigations, blood sampling, and we have a regional assignment within endocrinology. In addition to direct patient work, all employees are involved in developing and improving care at our unit.

The position includes some weekend work according to new guidelines where all employees within the clinic participate. The working hours are 40 hours per week, and red days (public holidays) are days off.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a licensed nurse with the right to work in Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We consider it an advantage if you have specialist education in pediatric care and/or diabetes.
