Väla Health Centre is part of Prima Vård and works on behalf of Hälsovalet in Region Skåne. The health centre, which is medium-sized and has approximately 6,700 registered patients, is characterized by solution-focused, engaged employees and a family-like atmosphere. Approximately 25 employees work with us in various professional categories (general practitioners/specialists, ST-doctors, AT-doctors, nurses/district nurses, diabetes nurse, counselor, rehab coordinator, assistant nurses, occupational therapist, medical secretaries, receptionists, dietitian, and service staff).

Job Responsibilities

Your Role

The work as a specialist in general medicine at our health centre involves investigating and treating patients at the clinic. The work also includes home visits to patients in SÄBO (specialized housing for the elderly) and OBO (ordinary housing).

At Väla Health Centre, we work systematically with quality to provide our patients with the best possible care, and we have excellent results in the National Patient Survey.

We work systematically based on clear guidelines and continuously measure and follow up on our work. Here, you will be an important part of the improvement work and the development of the operations in close collaboration with colleagues and the operations manager. The position also includes supervision of our AT- and ST-doctors as well as students.

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for you who are educated as a specialist in general medicine and have experience working in primary care.

Interest in supervising AT- and ST-doctors is meritorious. You are confident in your professional role, like challenges, and see opportunities rather than obstacles. We value team spirit, the ability, and the willingness to take initiative. If you have experience and are interested in working as a medically responsible physician, this is meritorious.

We have a very good working climate and cooperation within the unit, and therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

For permanent employment, we always apply a first six-month probationary period.

A B-driving license is a preference.
