We are looking for a substitute nurse for six short-term care beds and six elderly psychiatry beds. You will be part of a team consisting of nursing staff, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important part of your role is to mentor care staff so that together you can provide each resident with the best possible life. Based on national quality registers, you will conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure very high quality in the operations. The work involves both acute and planned interventions.

You are responsible for ensuring that residents receive good and safe care and treatment. You work to foster good relationships with residents, relatives, and other care providers, and collaborate with the responsible physician. Your responsibilities include creating individual health plans and ensuring they remain active in daily work. Additionally, you actively participate in meeting forums according to the unit's planning and contribute to the development of the unit's work. Other usual tasks for a nurse in a nursing home are also included.

As a nurse with us, you need to be careful and organized in your work. You can work independently and have strong problem-solving skills. In your role, you have many different contacts, so the position requires good teamwork skills and that you feel comfortable mentoring nursing staff in health and medical care interventions. You act based on a professional attitude with a high sense of service, always with the best interests of the resident and the organization in mind. You also have the commitment and desire to drive senior care with the highest quality.

Work is during daytime hours, Monday–Sunday.

The position is a fixed-term contract (substitute) between August 1, 2026, and mid-January 2027. However, the start date can be agreed upon.

We need to ensure that you, as a job applicant, have the right to work in Sweden. If you proceed in the process, we will request documents proving your right to work in Sweden.

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience or further education within senior care, geriatrics, or open healthcare. Merits include specialist training in senior care and familiarity with the Epsilon medical record system. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, computer literacy, and good experience with documentation.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) must be presented before employment. We prefer this to be shown digitally, for example via Kivra.
