Physiotherapist to the Physiotherapy Unit at Södertälje Hospital

Health Professions is a broad department covering occupational therapists, dietitians, health promotion consultants, physiotherapists, social workers, speech therapists, psychologists, and care planners. Our unit managers share their duties and are therefore well integrated into the clinical work. The department has won the region's "Golden Apple" award on two occasions, recognizing developmental initiatives within both management and staff.

Our specialists work together on cross-departmental assignments and are part of our own research and development group, which stimulates and supports the development of our professions. This includes areas such as patient safety, quality, student supervision, and psychosocial well-being at the workplace. We apply Region Stockholm's competency ladders for physiotherapists in clinical care. We also offer several employee well-being activities, including exercise, meditation, and supervision.

Earlier this year, our geriatric inpatient wards moved to newly built, purpose-built facilities, and we are therefore expanding our physiotherapy team.

The current position is located in a geriatric inpatient ward. The role involves physiotherapeutic assessments, mobilization, breathing exercises, and fitting of mobility aids. The focus is on promoting mobility, preventing falls, and supporting patient independence. You will have the opportunity to help build the future of geriatrics. Student supervision may also be part of the role.

Your personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is empathetic and responsible, and who thrives working both independently and in a team. You have good collaboration skills, strong self-drive, and the ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively to patients and colleagues. You have an interest in geriatric rehabilitation.

Personal suitability is of great importance in this recruitment.

• Licensed physiotherapist.

Employment type

Full-time. Weekend duty is included: 5–8 Saturdays per year.
