At Attendo, we are now looking for dedicated aids in care for Attendo Roden in Norrtälje, which will open in January 2027. This will be a brand new and modern nursing home with 60 apartments, including 40 places for people with dementia and 20 somatic places.
As an aid in care with us, you will have a unique opportunity to be involved from the very beginning and contribute to creating a secure, warm, and high-quality operation. Together with engaged colleagues, you will help establish routines, joy in work, and care where the resident's needs and wishes are always in focus.
The residence is based on Attendo's appreciated concept Sport & Spa, where health, activity, and well-being are a natural part of everyday life. In your role as a care assistant, you work person-centred and support the residents in their daily lives by creating security, participation, and meaningful days. You will become an important part of a team that collaborates closely, where quality, care, and development permeate the work.
About the role
As an aid in care with us, you play a crucial role in creating a secure and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere for our customers is a large part of your role, as well as contributing with various activities that brighten the everyday life for our elderly.
Your tasks include among other things:
- Personal care according to the operation's routines, starting from the customer's individual needs and wishes
- Assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc., if needed
- Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions
- Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Aid in care education of at least 800 credits
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)
- Good computer skills/computer literacy
Merits:
- Experience from care work in elderly care/home help
- Experience with delegation.

About the recruitment process
Before any employment, extracts from the criminal record register together with valid photo ID must be presented. If you are called for an interview, you need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
We use random alcohol and drug tests for our employees.

Summary
Role: Aid in care
Employment type: Permanent with 6 months probation
Work hours: Between 80% to 100%
Working time: Daytime, evenings, and every other weekend.
Start date: January 2027 / By agreement
