About the operations:
Within the Social Services Administration, approximately 550 employees work with the mission of providing preventive and supportive services within social services, healthcare, and care. We are undergoing a transition towards a more preventive, adapted, and sustainable social services sector.
We are now establishing a new role as MAR and Quality Developer, located within the Social Services Administration's support staff. The role combines statutory responsibilities with a clear mandate to develop, coordinate, and monitor quality. You will work in close collaboration with the MAS (Medical Responsible Nurse) and other strategists and leadership functions within the administration.
The role will develop in tandem with the needs of the operations. This means you have great opportunities to influence and shape the assignment over time, based on the organization's development and future requirements. The MAR assignment is a clear foundation in the role, while other parts may change and further develop.
Responsibilities:
In the role of Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR) and Quality Developer, you are responsible for ensuring that rehabilitation within the municipality's healthcare is conducted with good quality and high patient safety in accordance with current legislation. In this way, you contribute to a cohesive and appropriate care and service chain. The assignment includes, among other things, reviewing, monitoring, and controlling that operations meet requirements according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), the Professional Practice Act (PSL), and current regulations. You are also responsible for establishing guidelines, follow-ups, and driving and leading improvement and development work at a general level. You serve as a qualified support to managers and employees in medical and quality-related issues and are responsible for conducting any Lex Maria investigations within the rehabilitation area. Planning and implementation of educational initiatives also form an important part. In addition, there is responsibility for coordinating and monitoring the Social Services Administration's state grants.
Qualifications:
- Licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist
- Good knowledge of legislation and regulations (HSL, PSL, HSLF-FS)
- Experience in working with quality issues, patient safety, and improvement work
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
Meritorious with experience of:
- Work within municipal healthcare, i.e., politically governed organization
- Roles such as business developer, quality developer, business manager, or similar
- Procurement or work with external providers and monitoring of these
- Work with state grants
- Project management or change management
