About specialized palliative inpatient care

Our target group consists of patients aged 18 and older who need specialized care in the final stages of life, have a complex disease pattern, or do not respond to treatment. These are often patients with cancer, COPD, heart failure, or various neurological diseases. At Stockholms Sjukhem, palliative care (SPSV) and advanced home healthcare (ASIH) collaborate. This gives us the opportunity to be responsive and flexible to the wishes and needs of patients and their relatives.

Your role as a nurse

As a nurse, you always have close support from your colleagues and manager, but the nature of the work is based on your ability to make independent decisions and act autonomously when the situation requires it. You will become an important part of a responsible team that together delivers high-quality care and a good working environment. We work in the journal system TakeCare.

We are currently looking for both permanent and on-call nurses for SPSV, located in nice facilities at Bromma Hospital. Please specify in your application which type of employment you are interested in.

Are you our new colleague?

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a few years of experience in healthcare. If you have experience in palliative care, it is an advantage, but we also welcome those who have worked as nurses in other areas and are curious to try a new form of care! The role requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
