About the Position

The Care Area Heart and Vessels in Huddinge provides highly specialized care in cardiology and consists of three care units:

• Cardiology Ward 2: Inpatient cardiology care focusing on ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and pacemaker patients.
• Cardiology Ward 1: Elective care unit providing pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing procedures such as pacemaker implantation, electrophysiological interventions, angiography, and electrical cardioversion.
• Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (HIA): Highly specialized care for patients with acute heart conditions.

Patient stays are typically between one and three days, making the work varied and developmental. You will work in a multidisciplinary team alongside nurses, assistant nurses, ward assistants, doctors, and physiotherapists, always keeping the patient's needs at the center.

You will work under the 24/7 shift agreement with a weekly working time of 38.15 hours for full-time positions. Weekend work is included, with two weekends off out of five.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Swedish nursing license.
• At least one year of experience working as a nurse.

Merits:

• Experience working in cardiology.
• Experience in emergency care.
• Experience working in thoracic surgery.
