Psykosvård Stockholm is a newly established unit within the Stockholm County Council healthcare area. Here, we consolidate care for patients over 18 years old with psychotic disorders into one organizational entity. We offer assessment, investigation, and treatment according to national guidelines and regional care programs. Within Psykosvård Stockholm, we conduct development work, education, and research regarding psychotic disorders. We work in multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible care and treatment for our patients.
Description
Ward 141 cares for patients with newly diagnosed psychotic disorders. The ward is located at Danderyd Hospital and has 16 beds, one of which is designated for self-referral admission. We have an experienced and dedicated staff group that works with a strong focus on person-centered care and patient involvement.
We are now looking for a nurse for Ward 141 who wants to contribute to our operations.
Responsibilities
As a nurse, you have a central role as a team leader on the ward, and you are responsible for leading the nursing care of our patients. You participate in rounds together with doctors and other staff, and perform standard nursing tasks such as venipuncture, medication management, and medical record keeping. We use TakeCare as our electronic health record system. Your responsibilities also include supportive conversations with patients, contact with relatives, and coordination with the municipality, outpatient care, and other healthcare providers.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have previous experience working in psychiatric care, preferably in inpatient care. We expect you to be confident in your leadership role and to delegate tasks clearly and fairly. You are flexible and able to prioritize, plan, and execute your duties correctly. A specialist education in psychiatry is an advantage.
You have good collaboration and communication skills with your colleagues, even in stressful situations. It is crucial that you, as a nurse in psychiatric inpatient care, are calm, secure, and attentive to the patient's needs. You enjoy working closely with patients in their care and can work independently, while also appreciating collaboration with other professional groups to provide the best possible care for the patient.
Conditions
The position involves day and evening shifts, as well as working two weekends out of five. The working hours amount to 38.15 hours per week. A six-month probation period may apply.

You will be offered ongoing training during your employment, both mandatory and based on your own preferences.
