We are now looking for care assistants for special housing in Sjöbo

Two of our special housing facilities in central Sjöbo are now looking for new colleagues who want to help create a safe, meaningful, and rich daily life for people with cognitive illnesses. Here, you become part of an engaged team where care, collaboration, and good treatment permeate the daily work.

We are currently looking for employees for three permanent positions. We apply the desired degree of employment. Two of the positions involve working during day and evening hours as well as every other weekend, while the third position is scheduled for nights.

The Care and Elderly Care Administration in Sjöbo Municipality

The Care and Elderly Care Administration in Sjöbo Municipality works based on the vision "A Good Life Every Day". Within the administration, there are activities within elderly care, support for people with disabilities, municipal primary care, and meal services. Together, we work to provide our customers with security, participation, and good quality of life throughout their lives.

Job Responsibilities

As a care assistant with us, you are an important part of our customers' daily lives and contribute every day to their security, well-being, and quality of life. The tasks are varied and can include everything from personal care, medication management, and support during meals to creating meaningful moments through conversation, activities, and social interaction.

In your work, you start from the customer's individual needs, wishes, and implementation plan. With a person-centered approach, you help create a daily life where every individual feels seen, involved, and respected. Through your commitment, attentiveness, and care, you contribute to creating security and good quality of life for those who live with us.

You work both independently and together with colleagues and other professional groups. Together, we take responsibility for providing good care where collaboration, respect, and good treatment are just as important as the practical tasks.

Qualifications

We are now looking for three trained care assistants who want to make a difference for people with cognitive illnesses.

Experience working in elderly care or with people living with cognitive illness is meritorious, but we also place great importance on who you are as a person. To thrive with us, we believe you meet people with warmth, respect, and care. You are confident in your professional role, present in the meeting with our customers, and see the value in creating good relationships with residents, relatives, and colleagues.

We are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating and contributes to a positive work environment where people help and support each other. At the same time, you are responsible and can work independently when the situation requires it. You have a flexible approach and can adapt to the customers' needs and the changes that naturally arise in daily life.
