We are looking for you who want to help create a warm, safe, and joyful everyday life for a young woman in Umeå. She enjoys music, dancing, good food, traveling, but also calmer moments with crafts or other activities. Your role will be to support her in continuing the things that make her feel good – movement, social interaction, experiences, and small moments of everyday joy.

The support involves being attentive, present, and building a secure relationship. You will help her with communication and have the opportunity to learn to understand her way of expressing thoughts, feelings, and wishes. Together, you will practice and develop communication in daily life, which is an important part of the assignment and her opportunity for participation and self-determination.

The role also includes some assistance with personal hygiene, so it is important that you feel comfortable with this. She attends day activities on weekdays, which means that work shifts are primarily scheduled at other times. When you work with her, you are the one who contributes calm, security, structure, and a positive attitude.

About the position

• Permanent schedule of approximately 45 %
• Work shifts scheduled during day, evening, and night with sleeping on-call duty
• An extract from the criminal record will be requested before employment
