Common Responsibilities

As an Operations Technician, you are a key person in the work of operating, maintaining, and developing our water treatment plants, pressure boosting stations, and reservoirs.

You will be involved in daily operations and actively contribute to the development of the business. The role also involves driving improvement work in existing facilities and participating in new construction and renovation projects.

• Operation, maintenance, and optimization of the municipality's drinking water facilities.
• Identification and correction of technical faults.
• Participation in development projects to improve facilities or build new ones.
• Working with SCADA and maintenance systems.
• On-call duty is included in the position.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a university education with a technical focus, and a Class B driver's license is a requirement.

Meritorious:

• Experience within Water & Sewerage (WSS) or similar operations.
• Process technical knowledge.
• Electrical knowledge.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment.
• Computer proficiency.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and maintenance systems.

The employment involves consent to security clearance and placement in security class 3.
