The Administration Department within the Swedish Customs Service is responsible for premises, vehicles, clothing, office and operations support, as well as procurement, finance, security, and preparedness. The department consists of a management support unit and five national units, where operations support is one of the units.
The Operations Support unit consists of approximately 35 employees located in various places across the country, primarily in Stockholm, Malmö, and Gothenburg. The unit is led by a unit manager and has a support team consisting of operations coordinators, operations developers, and three responsible managers in a geographical division: south, west, and east/north.
Operations Support has a portfolio management with a facility management service offering that also includes the administration of the agency's premises, vehicles, clothing, protection of property, and service cards. The unit develops, administers, provides, and secures the operational needs for effective and efficient operations support. The unit also has important responsibilities and tasks related to heightened preparedness and special incidents.
About the position
The tasks based on our facility management portfolio are varied, with a focus on facilitating the daily work for other functions within the Swedish Customs Service. In your role, you will also independently drive smaller assignments/projects with varying timeframes.
As an employee at Operations Support, you work flexibly and without hierarchy in an engaged team where everyone takes responsibility. The majority of the colleagues in the team, which consists of 9 people, work in Malmö, while this position is located at the Karlshamn office.
Under the leadership of the Manager for the South Service Area, who is also located in Malmö, you contribute to achieving set goals and participate in a driving and engaged manner in developing, administering, and providing the service offering within the South area.
