Our goal is for Nordcon to be the obvious choice when you need the right equipment for earthworks, construction, and civil engineering – regardless of the project size.
We work with SANY, one of the world's largest manufacturers of construction machinery and a global leader in electrification. We are currently building a nationwide organization for both sales and service, where the establishment in Gothenburg is the next important step in our development.
Our headquarters are located in Sundsvall and Norrköping, but with all of Sweden as our playing field, we strive to be close to our customers – wherever they operate.
About the role
The role involves selling SANY's wide range of construction machinery, focusing on contracting companies, civil engineering firms, national rental companies, and public sector entities.
You will work both operationally and strategically to conduct needs analyses and identify customer-specific solutions. You will drive the sales process from initial contact to closing, ensuring profitability in deals. You will represent the company and its products at industry trade shows and customer events. A natural part of the role is keeping up with market trends and the industry in general. Internally, you will collaborate with colleagues in sales, service, and aftermarket. Travel is a significant part of the position.
Your primary sales area will be Gothenburg, but also the rest of West Sweden.
About you
To succeed in this role, you must have substantial experience in similar B2B sales of heavy vehicles, as well as experience and understanding of the construction industry. Through your experience, you have built a well-established network. Experience working with larger customers and complex deals is advantageous. Familiarity with procurement processes and the public sector is a plus. You should have a strong interest in electric machinery and want to be part of the journey to electrify the Swedish construction machinery market.
As a person, you are results-oriented with a strong business sense. You are an excellent relationship builder with the ability to create trust and long-term relationships at various levels. You are very good at putting yourself in the customer's shoes and understanding their needs. Therefore, we expect you to have excellent communication and negotiation skills. We expect you to be driven by achieving and exceeding sales targets, thereby continuously developing the business.
You are proficient in the Office suite and express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required for this position.
