Capio Eye is looking for an Operating Room Nurse/Ophthalmic Nurse for our new operating unit at Sophiahemmet.

Your Role

We are looking for an Ophthalmic Nurse or Operating Room Nurse to work primarily in our operating department, where we perform cataract surgery under contract with Region Stockholm as well as private refractive surgeries. We also perform outpatient surgeries in the private sector. Your main tasks consist of instrumenting during surgery, patient preparation, and sterile handling. There is also an opportunity to combine the work with duty at our eye clinic at Arenavägen 27, Globen.

The work is conducted during daytime: Monday–Friday.

About You

Experience with eye surgeries is meritorious. Since teamwork is an important part of your job, you have a good ability to collaborate with others. Both tasks and work pace can vary, so you should enjoy variety and have the ability to take initiative. We have high demands for medical competence, but we also place great emphasis on personal qualities and social competence.

Employment Conditions: Full-time. Working hours Monday – Friday. Start date by agreement. 6-month probation period.
