WeMind Individual and Family is a subsidiary of WeMind Psychiatry, which operates treatment homes for young people. WeMind Vendelsö is a residential care home (HVB) for young girls with social issues and mental health challenges. We are located in a quiet villa area in Vendelsö, Haninge Municipality, with good transport links. We believe that placed young people need exceptionally high-quality interventions to reverse negative development, which is why we invest in care provided by highly specialized professionals who work closely with our young people in their daily lives.

Working as a Psychologist or PTP-Psychologist with us

As a psychologist or PTP-psychologist at WeMind HVB Vendelsö, you are responsible for the treatment of placed young people and are part of a multidisciplinary treatment team together with a social worker (case manager) and a treatment assistant (contact person).

Treatment is conducted according to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and takes place in close collaboration with the current social services. We also work with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as a method and offer a skills training group. You contribute knowledge regarding psychiatric and behavioral issues, as well as evidence-based treatment interventions. The work includes treatment planning, implementation, and ongoing quality follow-up. For licensed psychologists, this also includes methodological supervision of staff. For PTP-psychologists, the tasks are adapted and carried out under supervision according to current guidelines for PTP employment.

All treatment work is done in close collaboration with the young person themselves and their network. The work is conducted individually, in groups, and together with family and close ones. The treatment process is woven into the home's daily routines and social interactions, making you an active part of the ongoing milieu therapy work.

Your new workplace

In the spring of 2023, WeMind HVB Vendelsö opened for girls, after WeMind HVB Gålö had been targeting boys for a long time. We are today a committed work group that wants to create a world-class treatment environment and, at the same time, an unbeatable workplace.

Vendelsö consists of two departments where we target teenage girls (14–18 years) with psychosocial difficulties combined with neuropsychiatric disabilities and/or the need for qualified psychiatric care. About you

• Licensed psychologist or psychologist with a degree seeking a PTP position
• Interested in CBT, ABA, and evidence-based treatment
• Interested in or trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and/or systems theory (meritorious)
• Interested in or experienced in psychological assessment (meritorious)
• Experience from HVB, SiS, treatment homes, or psychiatric operations (meritorious)
• Holder of a B-class driver's license
