Occupational Therapist for Varied Assignments in Primary Care Rehabilitation
We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and enjoy variety in your work. We are a workplace with driven colleagues and an open atmosphere, and we hope you want to become part of our team.
Responsibilities
You will be part of the home team and primarily work with rehabilitation in the patient's home environment. The work takes place in a smaller geographical area, and there are great opportunities to walk or cycle to visits. We also have access to three cars to get around the area.
You will work both individually and in a team together with a physiotherapist or dietitian to ensure good and safe care. In primary care, there is a great variation in patients' diagnoses and ages, which makes the work both varied and challenging in a positive way.
At the clinic, there are both group and individual patient visits. Our occupational therapists perform many different assessments, e.g., regarding ADL (Activities of Daily Living), work capacity, and memory investigations.
Information about the workplace
PTJ Rehab Hallunda is located near the subway station and has close cooperation with other Rehab clinics within Praktikertjänst, nearby health centers, Child Health Centers (BVC), Mental Health Services for Children and Adolescents (BUMM), and the municipality. We have approximately 25 employees at the unit. Occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, chiropractors, receptionists, clinic assistants, and the unit manager – we all work together to create the best possible care for our patients. The activity offers broad competence within rehabilitation and colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge and experience.
Qualifications
You are an engaged and solution-oriented licensed occupational therapist with experience or interest in working within primary care.
Interest or experience in working with patients with reduced cognition, for example in neuropsychiatric disabilities such as ADHD and autism, as well as work capacity assessments, is meritorious.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Personal qualities
We are looking for you who are professional in your profession and have good patient interaction skills. You are a team player, and it is of great importance that you have good cooperation skills with colleagues. You are engaged, innovative, and solution-oriented as a person, who wants to develop forward in your professional career. You have a good ability to prioritize.
We offer
To staffing, placement, and recruitment agencies and to you who are a salesperson: We kindly but firmly decline direct contact with staffing, placement, and recruitment agencies as well as other external actors and sellers of additional job advertisements.
