About the workplace

Stuvsta Primary Care Centre is part of Praktikertjänst and works on behalf of Stockholm County Council. We currently have around 70 employees and over 22,000 registered patients. At our centre, you will work in a positive work environment with strong cohesion both within and between professional groups. The centre is centrally located in Stuvsta Centre, close to commuter trains and buses.

Job responsibilities

We currently have 12 staff members in the home care service, including four nurses and one home care physician. As a nurse in home care, you are responsible for patient care planning, monitoring well-being, and medication follow-up. You maintain close communication with assistant nurses and doctors regarding the patient's condition. As a nurse, you work from a holistic perspective with the patient's health in focus, aiming to provide personal, safe, and secure care in the home.

We work in teams with other professions such as district nurses, doctors, and assistant nurses, and conduct ward rounds together with dietitians, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

Your profile

We are looking for a registered nurse or district nurse for a fixed-term position starting in August for one year, with a possibility of extension.

As a person, you are engaged, empathetic, self-reliant, and have good teamwork skills. You are flexible and responsible regarding both your work and the operations, and have the ability to work structured during periods of high workload.

Experience in basic home care and knowledge of the medical record system TakeCare are meritorious. A valid driver's license is required.

Employment and application

Fixed-term position from August 2026 to August 2027, with a possibility of extension. Monthly salary. Working hours are daytime, weekdays, excluding public holidays.
