Job Description

We are looking for you who see the person behind the care needs and who want to create a daily life where every individual has the opportunity to live their life in their own way, supported by dedicated and professional staff. As a care assistant with us, you will have a meaningful role where you, with care, sensitivity, and professional commitment, support people in their daily lives and contribute to creating safety, participation, and quality of life.

Here, you will work closely with residents and be present in both big and small moments, where your attitude and competence enable every individual to live as independent and dignified a life as possible. You will become an important part of a team working together to create a safe and stimulating environment where both residents and employees can thrive and develop.

The duties include, among other things:

• Provide individually adapted support and care based on the individual's needs and disabilities.
• Support the person's independence, self-determination, and personal integrity in daily activities.
• Use adapted communication methods to facilitate understanding and participation.
• Support the individual's participation in leisure, cultural, and community activities.
• Document according to current guidelines and follow and contribute to the updating of implementation plans.
• Perform delegated medical tasks according to instructions from a nurse and report changes in condition when applicable.
• Work night shifts, both weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who work in a structured and goal-oriented manner, with the ability to plan, organize, and follow up on your work responsibly. You are confident in yourself and maintain your composure even in stressful or unexpected situations, allowing you to act constructively and maintain a professional attitude even under pressure.

In this role, it is important that you have a good approach to other people, with the ability to listen, show consideration, and put yourself in the individual's perspective. You value collaboration and contribute to a positive work environment through a solution-oriented way of working, focusing on achieving common goals together with colleagues and other professions.

Requirements for the position:

• Completed nursing and care program with passing grades.
• Experience in professional practice within the healthcare sector, e.g., personal care or delegation.
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Completed a specialist education as a care assistant.
