Description

We are currently looking for a Supply Quality Manager for a long-term assignment with our client in the advanced technology and industrial sector. This role is a key part of the client's supply chain, focusing on ensuring and developing the quality of purchased items, materials, and subsystems. The position involves close collaboration with both suppliers and internal functions, making it ideal for you who have extensive experience in quality and supplier management.

About the assignment

As a Supply Quality Manager, you will belong to one of four product groups: Mechanics, Electronics, Systems, or IMK (non-metallic components). You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of purchased items and suppliers in line with the client's purchasing strategy, policies, and procedures.

The work includes both operational and developmental tasks, where you are responsible for quality requirements in RFQs (Request for Quotations), contracts, and purchase orders. You will conduct process and product audits at supplier sites and drive improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance within the supply chain.

Key responsibilities:

  • Case management in quality systems
  • Handling and follow-up of FAIs (First Article Inspections)
  • Defect case management and complaints handling
  • Conducting root cause analyses, both internally and externally
  • Risk analyses related to suppliers and products
  • Corrective actions and improvement programs in collaboration with suppliers
  • Follow-up and analysis of supplier quality performance

You will work closely with other quality functions within the organization. Travel is a regular part of the role, primarily within Sweden but also within Europe.

Your profile

  • 2–4 years of experience
  • University degree in engineering or a related technical field
  • Strong knowledge of quality management and quality work
  • Experience with case management, FAI, and root cause investigations
  • Ability to work in a structured and analytical manner
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with both internal and external parties
  • Ability to take initiative and drive work independently

Merits

  • Experience in Supply Quality / Supplier Quality
  • Practical experience with quality tools such as 8D, DMAIC, 6σ, RCA, MSA, and FMEA
  • Experience with the business system IFS
  • Previous work in leading or coordinating roles within quality
