Do you want to lead and develop the maintenance of the future in a high-tech process industry? Billerud in Skärblacka is now looking for an engaged and business-driven section manager within Electrical & Automation who wants to take overall responsibility for an important operation and contribute to increased operational safety, efficiency, and sustainable production.

Your role in the business
As Section Manager for Electrical & Automation, you will have a central role where you lead, plan, and develop the work within the section. You drive a systematic improvement work based on Current Best Practice (CBP) and ensure that the business is continuously developed in line with set goals.

The section is responsible for service and maintenance within electrical power, instruments, OT, and systems and consists of 52 employees. You have direct personnel responsibility for nine people, including four group leaders, and lead the other employees through them. In the role, you actively work on creating the section's action plans linked to overall goals, follow up on results, and drive corrective actions if necessary.

Your responsibilities also include budget, cost control, and projects, as well as safety, working environment, and the availability of the business. The work takes place in close cooperation with production within both the paper mill and the sulphate plant, as well as with other functions within maintenance, operations, and projects. You also collaborate with external specialists and contractors. As section manager, you are part of the maintenance department's management group and report to the Department Manager Maintenance & Projects.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are a confident and clear leader with at least five years of leadership experience in a similar operation, preferably within the process industry. You have a relevant university degree or have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience. You have a good technical understanding of operations and maintenance work as well as experience in driving change and improvement work in a business where structure and long-term perspective are crucial. You have knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and a good understanding of environmental and occupational health and safety work. Furthermore, you express yourself comfortably in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
