Our offer

Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, four emergency care centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the child health care unit, 1177, and the general medical education centre. We operate a broad primary care service where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients in the final stages of life.

A merger of Borensberg Health Centre and Lyckorna Health Centre has recently been completed, and we are looking for you who want to be part of this development journey as a nursing assistant. Work may take place at both health centres. We are currently offering a fixed-term position. As a new nursing assistant, you will be offered a tailored introduction based on your needs.

Job Description

We are looking for a nursing assistant who values stimulating and independent work in a developing environment. The main task at the health centres is reception work together with other colleagues and work in Tele Q with, for example, prescription requests.

You will also work with your own reception, including suture removal, dressing changes, ECGs, blood pressure checks, and hearing tests.

Providing the patient with the best possible care together is central to us, which is why we intend to utilize the competence of all employees and work for competence exchange between different professional groups. At our health centre, we all contribute to creating a good work climate by caring for each other, treating each other and our patients well, and radiating joy in work. Work Group

We are about 90 employees at Lyckorna Health Centre and Borensberg Health Centre who thrive together in an open work climate. We have good cooperation with our care partners, both within Region Östergötland and within the municipality. We have a development-inspired approach and operate a broad primary care service where we meet patients of all ages and with many different needs.

The health centres have doctor's clinics, nurse's clinics, specialist nurse clinics, nursing assistant clinics, child health care, psychosocial competence, foot care, elderly care clinics, and a laboratory. We are also responsible for a number of nursing homes.

About You

You are a trained nursing assistant with experience in primary care. You work in continuous dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other operations. It is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing. You also need to be able to handle different IT systems to be able to perform the daily care work. Experience with your own reception regarding the above mentioned tasks is meritorious. Knowledge about nephrostomy care and wound care is meritorious. We see a great advantage in experience from emergency care and reception work.

You are secure in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession. This is a fixed-term position of 100% between August 10, 2026, and January 31, 2027. We work with ongoing selection, so please send in your application as soon as possible.
