The Medical Specialist Clinic (MSK) conducts a broad internal medicine practice at the Hospital in Motala. The proximity to the University Hospital in Linköping provides good opportunities for collaboration both in clinical daily life and in education, research, and development. Our mission includes emergency care, inpatient care, and outpatient care.

We have operations within emergency care, endocrinology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, geriatric orthopedics, hematology, cardiology, pulmonary medicine, and neurology. We maintain close cooperation with the Primary Care Clinic West/LAH. We currently have approximately 45 care beds and approximately 300 employees with many different professional groups working together to provide the best care to the population in western Östergötland.

Job Description

We offer you a varied and stimulating job with main duty on our medical care units and at the emergency clinic. You also participate in the clinic's on-call activities as primary on-call and house/middle on-call. Medical quality is high on the agenda, so development work is part of the daily work. The work also includes supervision/education of students, younger colleagues, and other professional groups. As an ST doctor with us, you naturally have your own engaged supervisor.

Work Group

We prioritize doctors' opportunities for further education and recovery, which is why we are now looking for you who want to strengthen and join the clinic's regular medical group with approximately 30 pleasant colleagues. As an employee at our clinic, you are expected to contribute to the development of the operations and you have a good attitude towards both patients and coworkers.

About You

You have a Swedish medical license, and we would like you to have previous experience from internal medicine practice. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing (Swedish C1), as you should be able to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues unimpeded. We also welcome other language skills.

You find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and other professions, are empathetic, and value good communication with patients and colleagues. The work requires that you have the ability to plan, organize, and structure your work in an efficient manner.
