Tegelbacken is a specialized housing facility for people with dementia.
At Tegelbacken, various professions work in teams with the goal of providing residents with person-centered care and enabling them to continue living as good a life as possible, despite dementia.
We are now looking for two new colleagues who want to make a difference in the residents' daily lives.
We are recruiting for two different positions. One position is as care staff. The other position is a combined role where you will work both as care staff and team leader.
The team leader assignment is new and will be run as a pilot project for 6 months.
Your future tasks
Your main tasks as care staff are to:
You work based on established implementation plans and decided care interventions. You document according to the Social Services Act (SoL), evaluate, and follow up on interventions.
Your main tasks as team leader are:
The work involves shifts during the day, evening, and every other weekend.
The role also involves
You will perform various healthcare tasks, maintain contact with relatives, participate in/lead activities, perform various service tasks such as preparing meals, and support residents with household management.
Who are you?
You are trained as a nurse assistant/caregiver or have another professional education that we assess as adequate for the position. We place great emphasis on previous experience, personal suitability, and the ability to remain calm in demanding situations.
For the team leader position, experience in leading, coordinating, and distributing work is required, for example, previous work as a group leader.
You have good knowledge of and the ability to apply low-affective interaction.
The work requires you to be responsible and able to work both independently and in a group. You have a positive attitude towards your work and contribute to a good work environment.
You thrive in a varied job, are flexible, and can easily adapt to changed circumstances, for example, working on different wards.
You have good computer skills and are knowledgeable in social documentation.
You have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Regarding the combined position as team leader, you are offered a permanent employment as a nurse assistant/caregiver with a 6-month appointment as team leader. After the project has been evaluated, a decision will be made on whether the team leader assignment will become permanent or not.
