Welcome to the Rheumatology Clinic at Östersunds Rehab Centre – a facility where quality, collaboration, and development are in focus.

We are part of the Heart, Neurology, and Rehabilitation department and are located at Remonthagen, approximately 2 km from Östersund Hospital. Here, we work in close proximity to other units such as the rehabilitation ward, outpatient rehabilitation, and the pain unit, creating excellent conditions for comprehensive care.

The Rheumatology Clinic is a specialist clinic for the investigation, care, and treatment of patients with suspected or established inflammatory rheumatic diseases. Our operations are primarily outpatient, with the possibility of inpatient care via the rehabilitation ward when necessary.

At our clinic, you will work in a dedicated multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, a counselor, medical secretaries, and nursing assistants, with our own laboratory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Here, you will have a varied and stimulating job in a smaller specialist unit with close collaboration and good opportunities for professional development.

You will work together with three specialists and a resident physician (ST-läkare) and meet patients with a broad spectrum of rheumatological diseases.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Assessment, investigation, and treatment of patients with inflammatory joint and systemic diseases
• Mentoring colleagues and participating in teamwork
• Consultations and day duty work (weekdays)

There is an opportunity to participate in research projects in collaboration with the Rheumatology Clinic at Norrlands University Hospital in Umeå.
