The Rehabilitation Unit is part of the Social Services Administration and consists of seven occupational therapists and six physiotherapists.
We work in close collaboration with other staff within care and social services in the municipality's special housing, short-term housing, home healthcare, and home help services, as well as for individuals receiving support under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). We work with the entire Härjedalen region as our workplace, based out of the locations Funäsdalen, Hede, and Sveg.
Location: Sveg.
Position: Fixed-term position (100%) with possibility of extension.
Recruitment and interviews are conducted continuously throughout the application period. Start date: 2026-08-01 or as agreed.
Responsibilities
- You work with assessment and training in activities, as well as supervision and instruction for patients, relatives, and care staff.
The responsibilities also include home adaptations and prescription of assistive devices.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensed occupational therapist or eligibility for licensure by the agreed start date.
- Valid B-class driver's license.
- Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required for work in elder care and adult disability services.
Merits:
- Previous experience from municipal operations, both in elder care and LSS.
- Completed some form of advanced training in mobility techniques.
In addition to adequate education level and experience, great importance is attached to personal suitability.
