About You and the Role

As a dentist, you work clinically with your own patients and have the opportunity to influence how your work is planned and structured.

In the role of clinic manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and developing the business according to current goals and guidelines. You are responsible for economy, personnel, recruitment, and working environment, and ensure that the clinic complies with current laws and regulations within healthcare and dentistry.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Dental degree with Swedish professional license
• At least 2 years of clinical professional experience
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, due to patient communication and administration/medical record keeping

Merits

• Experience in leading others, for example as clinic manager or responsible odontologist

About Praktikertjänst and the Clinic

Praktikertjänst was founded over 65 years ago and is one of Sweden's largest healthcare providers with 750 clinics from Vittangi in the north to Ystad in the south. The clinics are run by practitioners who together own the entire Praktikertjänst.

At Östersund Dental Clinic, a tight-knit team consisting of one dentist (the position is for replacement), one dental hygienist, three experienced dental nurses, and one receptionist work together. The group is secure and well-functioning, with high competence and a delegated working approach.

The clinic has four modern treatment rooms, a sterilization room, reception, waiting room, as well as staff and changing rooms. We work with the Frenda medical record system, digital X-ray, and digital scanning (OPG room prepared).

We have approximately 2,350 active patients, primarily adults (approximately 200 children), and a stable patient inflow. The work environment is described as pleasant and family-like with a strong team spirit, participation, and engagement.
