Vacant job

I am a slightly mature woman living with my cat in one of Stockholm's southern suburbs. I currently work as a project manager, but also freelance through my own company. I enjoy good food and drink, both preparing and consuming it. My apartment, balcony, and loft walkway are overflowing with plants. When the weather is warm, I love long-long-long-long walks. "Moderation" is not really my thing.

I am looking for a personal assistant for a part-time position of approximately 24 hours per week. The shifts are placed on a rolling schedule, so you will know your upcoming working days in advance and can plan accordingly. On-call duties are included in the shifts. It is a plus if you can work extra hours when needed. There are assistive devices at work, but regardless, some tasks are physical and require a fair amount of strength.

Requirements for the position are that you:

• are over 18 years old,
• tolerate and like cats,
• are not anti-vaxxers,
• identify as female or non-binary,

I have lived with a high spinal cord injury for many years, which actually doesn't say much about the assistance I need. I am not sick and do not need your medical care or nursing. If you have medical training and it is important to you to use that competence, you should not apply for this job. On the other hand, I would appreciate it if you understand what service means, and perhaps have worked in that field.

I receive my assistance through STIL, which means that I recruit, schedule, and lead my assistants. I like order and structure, which also applies to my assistance. Things may get messy sometimes, both in my life and in my assistants' lives. And yes, it can affect the assistance. But it must not become the norm.

You will receive an introduction to the job, but it is important that you can absorb oral instructions and take responsibility for how you perform your tasks. Personal assistance is primarily about understanding HOW I want you to assist me. That is essentially what the job is about. I decide what I want assistance with, and when we do it.
