About Ekebyskolan

Ekebyskolan is a preschool to year 6 school with approximately 250 students. Here, around 45 employees work together, enjoying their workplace and each other's company. In the intermediate school (grades 4-6), we have two classes per grade level. The school is located in a residential area in Djursholm with a natural and pleasant surroundings. We believe that a secure climate where everyone feels comfortable is the best foundation for good learning. Through a warm, creative, and inspiring work environment, we offer students a professional and stimulating environment for their development. We are looking for a new colleague

We are now looking for a new colleague in the role of teacher in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology for grades 4-6. Do you have a teaching license with eligibility to teach grades 4-6 in mathematics, natural sciences, and technology? Are you well-versed in the school's mission and governing documents? Do you also have experience in teaching and leading students? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Responsibilities

In this role, you will teach Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology in grades 4-6. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to systematically plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching based on the students and our governing documents. You will be part of a working group in the intermediate school where we contribute, develop, and collaborate together to create the best conditions for student learning.

As a teacher in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology, you will also be a mentor for a class, together with a colleague. This means that you, among other things, will be responsible for development conferences. You will have close contact and collaboration with both students and guardians. With your engagement and drive, you contribute to us becoming the absolute best school for our students.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a teaching license with eligibility to teach grades 4-6 in mathematics, natural sciences, and technology.
  • Is well-versed in the school's mission and governing documents.
  • Has good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Education focusing on NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses or experience working with students with NPF diagnoses.
  • Experience teaching in grades 4-6.
  • Experience in assessment and grading.

We are looking for someone who is confident in communicating and building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We see that you take active initiative in social contexts and are structured in your work. We want you to have a clear interest in collegial learning and to be a natural leader in the classroom. We want you to be team-oriented with a goal-oriented focus, free of hierarchy. You set goals for your work and are persistent in achieving good results. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Start date: 2026-08-10 or as agreed. Probationary period may apply.
