Job Description

We are looking for you who are a licensed speech therapist, preferably with experience regarding the target group of adults and children with disabilities and their families/networks. The work involves both individual contacts and multiprofessional team interventions. The interventions consist of investigation, assessment, treatment, as well as advice, support, and supervision.

An important part of the work is collaboration with other authorities and healthcare providers, as well as jointly responsible for group activities with the team. Since the operations continuously work with method and development issues, you are expected to actively participate in this work.

Habiliteringen offers you stimulating, enjoyable, and varied work where you have the opportunity to develop your professional role. The position involves travel and requires that you have a driver's license.

This position is based at our unit in Linköping, and during your first year, you will work in the children's team in Motala.

Work Group

The team consists of several different professions where work is carried out in close collaboration. Our target group is children and adults with permanent motor disabilities as well as intellectual disabilities. We also have a mandate for children under 7 years old with autism. We work together based on the individual's needs to promote independence and quality of life.

About You

You are a licensed speech therapist, preferably with experience from Habiliteringen.

Previous experience of teamwork with children and young people with disabilities is meritorious.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. You have a good ability to work independently as well as the ability to collaborate with other professions and care partners. This presupposes that you are engaged, flexible, proactive, and thrive in a dynamic and development-oriented environment. You are a good communicator and possess the ability to both listen to others and express yourself in a constructive manner.
