The position is located within the Health and Care Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health and medical care, authority exercises, commissioning of services, and provides care and support in its own operations. We work with quality awareness and professionalism to make every day as good as possible for the residents of Linköping who need us.

Do you want to improve the everyday life, future, and quality of life for the residents of Linköping? With us, you can combine important tasks with a meaningful everyday life. Welcome to us!

Your responsibilities

Welcome to Kärna Home Care and Supported Housing! We are now looking for a colleague who wants to make a difference for our customers.

The workday begins with you picking up your phone and reviewing the day's schedule. After that, you visit clients in their homes. Transportation is done on foot, by bicycle, or by car.

The tasks vary and can include personal care, support during meals, social interaction, cleaning, cooking, shopping, and laundry. You also perform certain health and medical care tasks after delegation from a nurse. The work involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues. You also collaborate with home healthcare, rehabilitation staff, and other functions around the client.

The role includes being a contact person. This involves, among other things, planning and following up on services, documenting in the medical record system Treserva, and contacting relatives and other concerned parties.

The position is full-time. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and every other weekend.

Your workplace

Kärna Supported Housing, operated by the Health and Care Administration, is located on Kärnabrunnsgatan in Malmslätt and consists of 36 supported apartments where residents receive support from home care. The facility has pleasant outdoor areas near the dining room and at the back, surrounded by greenery. In addition to the residents of the supported housing, we also help people who live at home in central Malmslätt and in the countryside. We collaborate closely with nurses and rehabilitation teams to meet each individual's needs.

At the workplace, you are part of a team of approximately 30 employees, most of whom are assistant nurses. We value community and a pleasant work environment. To promote this, we gather regularly after morning visits to check on the clients' situation and share experiences. Every fourth week, workplace meetings (APT) are held to discuss development issues and ensure continuous improvement.

You who apply

We are looking for you who have a high school education. It is an advantage if you are trained as an assistant nurse.

You have experience in service work where you have met people in your work. This could be, for example, within service, care, or other work with customer or client contact. If you have previously worked within support, care, and social services, it is an advantage.

In the work, you need to be able to cycle because we often get to the clients by bicycle. You also need to feel confident using digital tools, such as mobile phones and documentation systems. Since the work involves many meetings with people and some documentation, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. A B-class driver's license is a requirement.

As a person, you take responsibility for your work and can work independently, while also enjoying collaborating with others. You are sensitive in meetings with people and treat clients and relatives with respect. You communicate clearly and ensure that important information reaches colleagues and other concerned parties.

A language test is included in this recruitment process.

We warmly welcome your application!
