Clinicum Östergötland is a medical simulation center where healthcare professionals from all disciplines can develop their skills individually as well as in teams. Clinicum's mission is to enable regular training where practical and theoretical moments alternate, as well as to provide tools and readiness for action that increase patient safety in healthcare. Clinicum is a unit within the regional management, Region Östergötland.

Our goal and vision is to secure the meeting with the patient through regular training of practical and simulated moments in healthcare. As few as possible should be harmed, and all healthcare staff should have the opportunity to train on the moments that the operations need. Job Description

As part of the instructor team at Clinicum, you will help improve future healthcare through practical training, simulation, and education of the region's employees. As an instructor/coordinator, you lead and develop our training programs, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), proACT, instructor training, nursing education, and communication training such as SBAR.

The work includes administration regarding coordination and planning. Here, you grow as a coaching pedagogue, and several of our employees have developed their leadership skills through working at Clinicum.

The place of work is in Norrköping, but the position is region-wide within Östergötland. The instructor position is combined with clinical work to maintain clinical competence. You will need to drive a car in the position, so we require that you have a driver's license.

About You

You are a registered nurse with at least three years of professional experience in patient-facing healthcare in outpatient or inpatient care. Experience as an instructor is meritorious, as is work from different parts of healthcare since we work within all patient-facing units in inpatient care, outpatient care, and primary care.

We are looking for you who have the ability to engage and motivate others. You have a strong pedagogical interest, and collaboration with others is natural for you. As a person, you are positive, development-oriented, and responsible. You have a holistic view and see possibilities in the development of work at Clinicum, but also of healthcare as a whole, both now and in the future.

Since this is a task you have in combination with clinical work, it is important that you have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work in an efficient and structured manner.
