The Role of General Specialist

As a district physician at Bra Liv Sävsjö/Vrigstad Health Centre, you will have an independent and developmental role with good opportunities to shape your work. Your main workplace will be our well-functioning health centre branch in Vrigstad, where you will work close to patients in a smaller, more personal environment. Here, you have great freedom to organize your work and build long-term relationships with both patients and colleagues.

The work is varied, involving scheduled and emergency patient visits, supervision of trainee doctors, collaboration with home care services, and opportunities to work in municipal special housing and/or child health services. Furthermore, we offer you a fun and exciting job close to the public with many contact areas where your skills are utilized and stimulated. On-call duties and night shifts at the Urgent Care Centre in Eksjö are included in the position.

At Bra Liv Sävsjö/Vrigstad Health Centre, an experienced and knowledgeable team works to provide our patients with good continuity and care, leading to positive outcomes. The health centre has approximately 11,500 registered patients, 55 employees, and is part of Vårdcentralerna Bra Liv. Our common goal is "better health for all," which we achieve by showing care, thinking holistically, and creating quality. The health centre is located in the Småland highlands.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has proof of specialist competence and good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level)
• Has experience as a district physician, as you will help shape the development of our medical team and the rest of the operations. You will play a central role here
• Has experience supervising trainee doctors and other professions at the health centre
• Can work independently and with various professional groups
• Is engaged and responsible and understands the importance of good patient interaction
• Is flexible and wants to develop and improve operations together with us
• Acquires new knowledge, works according to the latest research, and serves as a knowledge resource for your colleagues
• Can adapt your work, interaction, and attitude based on the patient and situation
• Hold a valid B-class driver's license
• Wants to contribute to creating participation and a good work environment through good collaboration with management and colleagues
