The Role of Physiotherapist

As a physiotherapist with us, your work will primarily focus on pelvic floor rehabilitation and anorectal dysfunction.

You will meet patients with pelvic floor dysfunction such as pain, defecation difficulties, and incontinence, as well as pre- and post-operative rehabilitation for rectal prolapse and birth injuries. You may also encounter patients after rectal cancer and severe irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

We work in an interdisciplinary team both within the Rehabilitation Centre and at the clinic. The position we offer is a fixed-term contract until 2027-08-29, with start date according to agreement.

Your Future Workplace

The Rehabilitation Centre is a clinic that delivers specialized rehabilitation across the entire county. The operations are primarily centered at Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö, and Värnamo Hospital. In total, the clinic has approximately 300 employees. Your placement will be at Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist who has knowledge and interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation with a focus on anorectal dysfunction.

To thrive with us, it is important that you are good at collaborating with others and are flexible. You take responsibility for your tasks in a structured and independent manner and have good communication skills in both speech and writing. Personal suitability is given great importance.
