We are now looking for you who are a nursing assistant and want to work with us at Medical Care Unit B at Ryhov County Hospital.

The Role of Nursing Assistant

The work as a nursing assistant involves patient care and nursing, but also checks, sample collection, and documentation.

Medical Care Unit B is an acute care ward within the medical clinic. We work with several different patient groups with a focus on stroke and neurological diseases. This constitutes a mix of ultra-acute care such as thrombolysis and exciting investigation cases. Teamwork is a working method that we value highly, where the nursing assistant plays an important role.

Your Future Workplace

With us, you will work on a ward where we cherish a good work climate, where collaboration and helping each other is a matter of course.

You will work in teams where physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and dietitians play a central role in the patient's rehabilitation. Approximately 20 nurses and 20 nursing assistants work at the unit. We are a group with different experiences, strengths, and competencies, which allows us to complement each other.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and preferably with a few years of experience.

As a person, you are independent, professional, and cooperative. You are flexible, creative, and solution-oriented, and as a nursing assistant with us, it is important that you enjoy working in a team. We see that you have an easy time collaborating with different types of professional categories. As a person, you are secure, stable, and have a holistic view, and you can plan and prioritize your work in an effective way. You are open to improvements and want to contribute new thoughts and ideas to our joint development. You take responsibility for creating functional relationships with everyone you meet in your role and communicate in a clear and distinct manner.
