Description
We are in the startup phase of a consolidated reception unit within the Individual and Family Care (IFO) department, and are therefore expanding our existing team.
The work group will consist of five people, one of whom will have the role of team leader.
We are now looking for you who have a degree in social work and several years of experience in authority-based work within social services! You have experience in at least two of these three case-handling areas: children/youth, financial assistance, adults.
Job Responsibilities
The reception unit is the first line of social services, and you are the first point of contact for children, young people, adults, and families seeking support. Here, you are responsible for receiving, handling, and assessing reports and applications in socially complex situations, always with a focus on legal security, treatment, and quality.
The reception unit also has an advisory function for other operations as well as for the public in matters concerning children and families, risky use, addiction, domestic violence, and financial assistance.
The reception unit is an important part of social services work. At the reception unit, we work closely together and share responsibility for the unit's tasks. Our ambition is that our work in all parts should be permeated by Signs of Safety and preventive work.
If you like challenges, a fast-paced work environment, and short processes – apply for this job!
At IFO Ljusdal, we work closely together based on combined competence with a high level of ambition. We are facing an exciting change with the new Social Services Act and our reorganization. For us, respect, engagement, and creativity are important.

- Several years of experience in authority-based work within social services and experience in at least two of these three case-handling areas: children/youth, financial assistance, adults.
- Good ability to structure your work, document correctly, and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- The job also requires you to be flexible, handle rapid changes, and make decisions with confidence.
Experience with BBIC, LVU (Care of Young Persons Act), and Signs of Safety is meritorious, as is experience communicating with interpreters.
We place great importance on personal suitability! You are secure in yourself, empathetic, and have a professional attitude when meeting people in difficult life situations. You work independently, but also see the strength in good collaboration and want to contribute to a positive work environment where we support and learn from each other.
For this work, you must provide an extract from the police register.
