Do you want to work on shaping the future of healthcare and social care with a focus on safety, quality, and patient security? We are now looking for an engaged employee for a fixed-term position in our operations.
About the position
As an interim Patient Safety Strategist, you will work on developing, supporting, and monitoring patient safety and quality work within Tiohundra's operations. You will contribute to identifying risks, analyzing incidents, and proposing improvement measures. The role also involves participating in the development of new working methods, routines, and digital systems. Always with the goal of strengthening safety and quality for our patients and users.
Due to summer holidays, questions will be answered from week 27 onwards.
The position is a 100% fixed-term contract for the period from August 2026 to December 31, 2027.
Your responsibilities include among other things:
- Coordinate and monitor patient safety work, including action plans, deviations, and incident analyses.
- Support operations in using guidelines and routines according to laws and regulations.
- Develop the quality management system, with a focus on digitalization, self-control, and follow-up.
- Train and create learning within patient safety.
- Collaborate with internal and external actors to prevent care injuries and strengthen safety culture.

About you
For this position, you need:
- To be a registered nurse with experience from regional operations.
- Several years of experience in patient-facing work.
- Documented experience from work within healthcare, both clinically and administratively.
- Documented experience in patient safety work, quality development, and work with follow-up and analysis.
- Good knowledge of legislation and regulations within HSL (Health and Medical Services Act), SoL (Social Services Act), LSS (Act of Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).
- Interest in quality issues and patient safety, as well as the ability to work systematically and structured.
- Good knowledge of the healthcare system and current guidelines within Region Stockholm.
The following is meritorious for the position:
- Research experience in patient safety or quality work in healthcare.
- Management experience in healthcare.
You are confident in working independently, have good analytical skills, and enjoy administrative tasks. You are familiar with digital tools and are happy to contribute to the development of digital working methods. You are proactive, solution-focused, and quick to take initiative. You are good at analyzing the situation and turning ideas into practical results. You are flexible and open to change, and have the ability to navigate complex environments without getting stuck in details. You use regulations as support for development. You enjoy working in teams and see collaboration as a key to success. With your communication skills and unpretentious attitude, you create trust and engagement in the organization. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, especially your teamwork skills, communication strength, and ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.

The Quality Unit is an overarching support function within Tiohundra with the task of continuously developing and securing the quality of the care and social services we offer. A central part of our work is to create conditions for safe, secure, and person-centered care and social services, where our competence contributes to patients and users receiving the best possible care in their encounter with Tiohundra.
Here we employ patient and user safety strategists, medically responsible nurses (MAS), pharmacists, pharmacists (dispensing), and registrars. We collaborate closely with chief physicians and representatives from our operations to continuously drive active and long-term improvement work.
