Are you a dental hygienist and passionate about pediatric dentistry? Then you are the one we are looking for at the Specialist Clinics for Pedodontics.

Your Role

You now have the opportunity to take responsibility for the children and young people referred to us for specialist dental care in pedodontics, together with positive, cheerful, and experienced colleagues.

As a dental hygienist with us, you work with children and young people with varied care needs. Our various types of treatments involve caring for referred patients with severe caries, dental anxiety, developmental dental disorders, accidents, surgical needs, as well as children with chronic diseases and various disabilities. The job duties also include performing various treatments under anesthesia at Danderyd Hospital and Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital together with the dentist. The broad treatment panorama allows us to offer you a varied and highly stimulating job with good opportunities for further development. Your responsibilities include, among other things: assisting, sterile work, patient booking, and referral administration.

Within Folktandvården Stockholm, the pedodontic clinics Eastman, Sollentuna, Södertälje, and Handen are currently located. In total, we are approximately 45 employees working together under two different clinic leaders. We offer good development opportunities as you will participate in several educational activities both internally and externally since we constantly have ST-dentists in training.

Your Background

You are a trained dental hygienist and have a few years of experience. You are good at collaborating, flexible, calm, and have a welcoming attitude. You enjoy your profession and have experience and a genuine interest in children and young people.

Furthermore, in your role, it is natural for you to share your experiences to both motivate and inspire your colleagues. You have very good communication skills in speech and writing. Computer proficiency is a requirement. Experience with T4 is meritorious.

Employment

We welcome your application by July 1, 2026. The position is a permanent full-time employment. Probationary period may apply, and start date is by agreement. Selection is ongoing. We take references from your clinic manager if you have been/are employed by us.

For the interview, you need to be able to prove your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to show a valid work permit, or documentation showing that you are exempt from the requirement. To be considered for employment, a successful pre-employment health examination is also required.
